Tanium has released a major update to Tanium Trace to deliver support for Trace on Linux platforms and address miscellaneous bug fixes.

Tanium Trace on Linux is targeted to run on all Linux distributions that support the Tanium Client, however there are known compatibility issues if the Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) kernel module is installed.  Trace 2.0.0 supports multiple policy versions for SELinux in 'Enforcing' mode on Redhat Enterprise Linux & CentOS for versions 5, 6, and 7.

Tanium encourages customers to proceed with non-production or lab installations initially to ensure compatibility with their distribution and configuration and to consult their Technical Account Manager and the Tanium Trace User Guide.
